We bought this set for our daughter’s Christmas stocking. She is not the recommended 3-6 years, so we took out all of the smaller pieces leaving her with just the dinosaurs, the egg shell, and one large Duplo brick.
She loves it! It was completely worth what we paid, especially to have the quality of the Lego brand.
This is a wonderful starter set of Legos for a 2 1/2-3 year old. It has just enough pieces for a small child to keep track of and learn to put away. We used this set to teach our son to properly put away his legos and to count the pieces. ([...]) My son loves this set and has been playing with this set everyday for the last 2 weeks. He especially loves the little baby dinosaur!
Our 2 1/2 year old son showed an interest in dinosaurs so I bought this. He loves attaching “baby dinosaur” on the back of “daddy dinosaur.” It’d be nice if more pieces were included in the set, but it’s got my son talking about dinosaurs which I like as a means to expand his interests.
